What’s one thing we never leave the house without? Our Frenchie! Yes, even when we’re going out to be social. Let’s be honest, there’s nothing more socially attractive than cute dogs. We’ve created a list of the best bars in Dallas for a pup-friendly hangout.

Mutts Canine Cantina

With 2 locations, Uptown or Fort Worth, this place is literally Heaven on Earth for dogs. They welcome all 2-legged and 4-legged friends. However, they hold events catering to specific breeds, so check out their calendar of events ahead of time. Dogs are allowed to run leash-free in the separate small-dog and large-dog parks while you enjoy the patio and beer garden. If you make it there for Yappy Hour, be sure to get one of their cold drinks and, of course, a pupsicle for your Frenchie!

Katy Trail Ice House

So maybe your Frenchie isn’t always up for long walks in the park, but who says they can’t cheer from the sidelines? Katy Trail is a public park that stretches 3.5 miles through the north part of town with the best stop along the way, Katy Trail Ice House. Voted best margarita in Dallas, over 50 beers on tap, and dog friendly, there’s not much else you could ask for. All the food on the menu is made from scratch and the happy hour is unbeatable. You and your Frenchie can chill out on the patio while watching those suckers sweat it out on the trail.

Lee Harvey’s

Lee Harvey’s is known for its dog friendliness. It has everything dog owners need: lots of space, a climate-controlled dog park, and nobody giving you the why’d-you-bring-your-dog look. This Dallas gem is over 50 years old and still evolving. It has been acclaimed by many as the “best dive bar” in Dallas. Be sure to use its special perks of fire places in the winter. Your Frenchie has been a good dog, take him/her out for designated dog day every Sunday at Lee Harvey’s!
